About Christine

Christine Triano, MSW, LCSW

I've always believed in the power of story. One of the greatest privileges of my work is helping people rediscover their own—often a story of resilience, courage, and possibility they never knew they had. Walking alongside clients in that process humbles and inspires me every single day.

In my own story, I have experienced firsthand the remarkable agency we all have to create more satisfying lives and relationships. I also know it is never too late to lean into change or take a risk on growth. My own story contains many chapters. Before I became a therapist, I was a public policy advocate, an alternative press editor, a media consultant, a reality TV producer, and a documentary film writer.

I spent years searching for, listening to, and telling stories. Somewhere in the middle of it all, sitting in the glow of an edit bay, my laptop perched on my knees, I found myself filling out graduate school applications. I had two young kids, a demanding career, and a heart that kept whispering: there’s something more you’re meant to do. It didn’t make logical sense. It rarely does, when you’re listening to the deeper call.

Leaving a successful career in entertainment to pursue a social work degree at mid-life with two young children to support was met with a curious response at best and outright disapproval at worst. With support from friends, family — and a good therapist — today I can confidently say I have finally found what I want to be when I grow up. That's my story — and I guarantee you it's far from over.

Now, let's talk about you. Wherever we begin, I offer coaching and counseling services that will nurture your spirit, help heal the injuries of the past and create a new path forward. I know taking the first step can feel overwhelming. I hope we can connect and explore the possibilities together.
